The island of Berlenga. Photo taken from Peniche lighthouse. Apparently there is a beautiful anchorage on this island, I wish I had time to explore. Peniche is also a very nice place and I would like to stay longer (not least because the monthly rate works out at 5 euros per night and that includes electricity). But I have early morning flights to get from Lisbon and the bus service from here doesn't leave early enough. I have to leave tomorrow, it's the only favourable day on the forecast.
Good progress, how much further do you hope to get before your flight out of Malaga?
ReplyDeleteMy destination is a marina at Fuengirola and I want to get there asap because my sister is in Torremolinas for a month from tomorrow. But, the Gibraltar straits are a big problem, with today's forecast I won't be able to get through for another 10 days, so there seems to be no point in rushing anymore, I may as well enjoy it here in the Algarve.
