    Hi Brendan. Glad you had a good time with Margaux for her birthday. Thirteen now. How time flies. You must be heading as far south as you have ever been in your boat.

    That's strange. I replied yesterday and it doesn't show. Anyway, thank you Jules, yes, I had a lovely few days with Margaux. I've never had the boat down this way before, wish I could spent time in these places but I'm trying to get to Bilbao by the 6th of September.

Friday 24th November. Peniche.

The island of Berlenga. Photo taken from Peniche lighthouse. Apparently there is a beautiful anchorage on this island, I wish I had time to explore. Peniche is also a very nice place and I would like to stay longer (not least because the monthly rate works out at 5 euros per night and that includes electricity). But I have early morning flights to get from Lisbon and the bus service from here doesn't leave early enough. I have to leave tomorrow, it's the only favourable day on the forecast.
