The island of Berlenga. Photo taken from Peniche lighthouse. Apparently there is a beautiful anchorage on this island, I wish I had time to explore. Peniche is also a very nice place and I would like to stay longer (not least because the monthly rate works out at 5 euros per night and that includes electricity). But I have early morning flights to get from Lisbon and the bus service from here doesn't leave early enough. I have to leave tomorrow, it's the only favourable day on the forecast.
That was great progress Brendan. You'll be safe there. Storm Antoni descending on us early hours tomorrow. I asked Steve to put our furniture in the shed for safety. Kieran will get a pumelling in the caravan. Are you in the marina or close to one?

OMG. Saturday morning & all I could hear was it rain, rain, rain overnight. I was thinking of the poor campers down the road here. At least you have a hard top on you down there Bren. Mind you, they have a firm ground!... Hope you are in a marina & not bobbing offshore?
