Sunday 21st January 2024. The Algarve!

Rounding Cape St Vincent.
This is the Ponta de Sagres. They are too small to see but there are lots of men at the top dangling their fishing rods over the cliff edge. It is 50 metres high.
My anchorage. It is beautiful here, people on the beach, some in the water which is 14c. I'm anchored in 6 metres and the water is clear enough to see the bottom.

Friday 24th November. Peniche.

The island of Berlenga. Photo taken from Peniche lighthouse. Apparently there is a beautiful anchorage on this island, I wish I had time to explore. Peniche is also a very nice place and I would like to stay longer (not least because the monthly rate works out at 5 euros per night and that includes electricity). But I have early morning flights to get from Lisbon and the bus service from here doesn't leave early enough. I have to leave tomorrow, it's the only favourable day on the forecast.
