Thursday 9th November. Portugal.

This is just a picture of some hills that I took on the way.
Arrived in Viana de Castello and realised that I've been here before, 30 years ago.

never heard that term referred to re. a river before.

Hope you are settled in a nice marina and not bobbing around at anchor?

    1. The marina is completely full so I am having wait on a pontoon outside in the river with another boat from the Hamble which left Bayona with me. It's uncomfortable when the wind gets up and looking at the forecast, I might be here for some time.

  2. Funny - this formidable 'matron' in the Bridge club has just returned from said SAGA boat cruise.
Said she didn't know what all the fuss was about.... she put her pillows alongside the berth and had the best night sleep ever! She's in her 90's and regularly tops the leader board - often above the county players.
They don't make them like that anymore.....
