First impressions of Peniche are good. The first shop on the first street is a bar.
Tuesday 7th November. Bayona.
Bayona. Valhalla for yachtsmen crossing the Biscay. I passed this on the way, I think it's a tuna. Worth a few bob. I wonder what killed it?

ReplyDeleteYes, a good 30 hour stretch. More tomorrow. That bar was the first of many all in a row, then pizza places, burger and kebab places, rows of restaurants and hotels. The book says that this was once a small fishing village, it always says that and foolishly I'm always surprised when it isn't.
